IMAGINE THE VIEW is a photography business that I operate out of my home. I had the desire to begin this website to make these prints available to anyone who might have an interest in the lighthouses and various seascapes that surround us here in Michigan. I have been a lifelong resident of West Michigan and have spent much of my adult life near the Lake Michigan shoreline. I have always had a passion for the beauty and history of the many lighthouses that exist in the Great Lakes region. This may have been influenced by the fact that my father sailed aboard several freighters on the Great Lakes. While growing up, we would make several trips to various ports on the Great Lakes in order to visit with him. I have also been involved in film photography for much of my life, traveling statewide, photographing most of Michigan's lighthouses. After making the jump to digital photography about five years ago, I am now in the process of rebuilding my gallery of lighthouse photographs. The combination of my background in photography and my enthusiasm for "Nautical Michigan" has resulted in putting this gallery together for those who also share an affection for Michigan's lighthouses. I believe any these prints would make a nice addition to one's home or office giving a "nautical flavor" that I think many would enjoy. Thank you for your visit. -Paul G. Lehman_
